The Media Co-op has been publishing grassroots journalism online in the Canadian context for more than twenty years, and we would like you to get involved! We want both experienced journalists and newcomers to tell our readers the stories happening in their communities – and we want to pay you to do it. Send us a pitch with your idea!

If you’re not a writer, we invite you to join us as a volunteer, editor, or board member. Beyond that, if The Media Co-op is going to keep paying writers, keep the site online, and keep building our organization, we need financial resources. We would love to hear any fundraising ideas you might have, and if you’re able, we would very much appreciate a one-time or recurring donation.
